1. Do I need any modeling experience?
No. No experience is necessary. Satu, our expert photographer, is great with beginner models. Her specialty is making nervous newbies more comfortable and creating a more enjoyable photo shoot. She and her wonderful assistants will be glad to give out professional advice, tips and tricks for plush modeling during the photo shoot!

2. Will any picture do?
As long as it is clear, and shows your face, any head shot will do. Full-length shots should show your plush curves! We will take B&W, color, film or digital - It doesn't matter!

3. Are you an agency?
Plush Cat Club is not an "agency". We are an unique concept of a "social club" that connects the plush-size community at a grass-roots level. We bring opportunities, helpful tips and advice through "informal modelling" to the average plush-size woman. We're more of a stepping board into the professional plus-size model world.

4. What type of modeling is Plush Cat Club?
Plush Cat Club does "informal" modeling. "Informal" models work for recognition, clothing credit and/or (sometimes) cash. It is a way to bring plush-size designers, models and women closer together. While the "formal", or "professional" plus-size modeling world is still very strict on the size and shape of a plus-size model, we believe that every woman has the potential to look and feel her best!

5. What do you look for in a model?
We look for good potential in all women. For our Calendar, we try to have a wide range of different looks and sizes to better represent the plush-size community. For other model auditions, it all really depends on the fashion designer and what "look" they are going for.

6. Can I be a model?
To work as a model in the "industry", you would need to go to professional modeling agencies. However, you must understand that the plus-size model industry is still very strict with the size, shape and especially the height of their models.

Plush Cat Club believes that every plush-size woman has the potential to look like a "model". With attention to details such as makeup, hair, clothes, location, lighting, angle, posing and many more, Plush Cat Club can take the average woman and transform her into a beautiful, confident plush woman!


7. Will you take a look at my pics?
We wil be happy to take a look at your pics and give some advice to you if you are looking to be a "professional" model, but Plush Cat Club is not as strict about "size, shape or height" as the "professional" plus-size model industry. Since Plush Cat Club is mainly for "specialty" modelling, we know that each woman can be a Plush Cat Model, no matter what your pics look like. "Specialty" (or sometimes known as "informal") modelling is all about bringing the confidence out and showing a positive attitude about being who we are! We try and choose different models and give new women a chance to look and feel confident about themselves.

No, they are not. No "special parts" will be shown, but they are sexy, bold and provocative pictures!

10. Are the pictures for 2009 going to be in b&w or color?
For our 2009 NEW Plush Cat Project, we will have cute and sexy pics in full color!

11. Is there any age limit?
Models must be at least 21 years of age on the day of the photo shoot to be considered for the Plush Cat Project, but anyone 18 years and older can sign up to take advantage of the many other opportunities to model within the Plush Cat Club. There is no maximum age limit!

12. What is the size limit?
There is no such thing as "too plushy"! You can be a model, no matter what your size! We are looking for curvy BBWs in sizes 12 and UP! That's right! 12 AND UP! Not all photos will be full-length, and with professionally done make-up and styling, any plush -size woman has the potential to be a Plush Cat Pin-Up!

14. How many winners are there? What do they win?

15. How many models will make it to the Plush Cat Project?

16. Where will the photo shoots take place?
Most photo shoots will take place in California. This year, we cannot be responsible for model transportation, but we would like to come to a compromise with a model we really want in our Plush Cat Project!

17. But I don't live in California. Can I still be in the Plush Cat Project?
We would love girls from all over the world to be in our Plush Cat Project, but due to budget and time-constraints, we cannot be responsible for model transportation to/from photo shoots. We start shooting in October 2007, so this would be a wonderful opportunity to visit Hollywood AND have a free makeover photo shoot (if you are selected)! We will try to come to a compromise on transportation costs with a model we really want in the Plush Cat Project!

21. Why is there a $25.00 registration fee? Where is my money going?
The $25.00 registration fee is to help pay for processing the entries, photo shoots, project printing, website, promotions, and other costs needed to keep Plush Cat Club up and running! We really appreciate your support to bring quality representation to the Plush-size community!
